I didn’t realize how much van life impacted my nervous system… until I stopped.
After stepping away from full-time van life, I expected to feel calm again.
Instead, I felt restless, on edge, and disconnected from myself in ways I didn’t fully understand.
In this video, I’m sharing the side of van life that doesn’t get talked about enough—the part that affected me emotionally, physically, and mentally.
The quiet.
The isolation.
The constant movement.
And the unpredictability kept my system activated longer than I realized.
I don’t regret that chapter of my life. There were parts of it I’ll always love. But coming back to stillness has been its own journey… and I’m still finding my way back to feeling grounded again.
If you’ve ever felt off after a big life transition—or like you didn’t recognize yourself for a while—you’re not alone.
I’ve shared a couple of the moments mentioned in this video here:
→ Van stuck in snow https://youtu.be/QiqIYNUmLUg
→ Vehicle circling me https://youtu.be/kz98NSf_C0k
If this resonates with you, I’m glad you’re here. There’s more to come as I continue figuring this out in real time.
