This trip felt different.
Not because I wanted it to… but because it had to be.
I had a timeline, a few places I wanted to see, and two deadlines I couldn’t miss — which meant moving faster than I normally would.
And somewhere along the way, I realized how much pace changes the way you experience a place.
In this video, Blaze and I make our way through Colorado and into New Mexico — hiking quiet trails, adjusting plans as the weather rolls in, and finding small moments to slow down in the middle of a fast-moving trip.
It’s not about where we went.
It’s about how it felt to be there.
